Deep River Water Park
Hobart, Indiana
Tonn and Blank helped to manage several challenges during this three phase construction project which was part of a large scale recreational facility. Tonn and Blank performed the duties as the General Contractor for Phase I, the Design/Build team for Phase II and the Construction Manager for Phase III. Our consistent involvement allowed for a smooth and seamless construction process throughout. The project included infrastructure for attractions such as wave pool, lazy river, water slides, cannon bowl slide and an ice rink for placement throughout the 25-acre site. The primary challenge during the three seasons was construction during the winter months and traffic flow during the summer months, all of which were tackled successfully by Tonn and Blank.

Following three short months of finalizing design details, the project construction began. Phase I included the challenge of pouring the concrete and setting the steel during the winter months. Once the structure was enclosed, the remaining construction was performed. This project was completed in only nine months from start of negotiations to completion.
