Our History
1922
Tonn and Blank Construction Company founded in Michigan City, Indiana, as a partnership between C.W. Tonn and J.G. Blank.
1929
Incorporated in the State of Indiana.
1936
Offered customers value-added capabilities complementing its core construction business.
1936 - 1998
Continued expanding it capabilities, services, areas of expertise, and market presence as well as geographic reach, operating in other areas of northwest Indiana and the Midwest, from the Mississippi River to the Allegheny Mountains.

Purchased by Sisters of St. Francis Health Services, Inc. and renamed Alverno Construction Corporation d/b/a Tonn and Blank Construction.
