Pacers Visit Wheeler-Dowe Boys & Girls Club for Multipurpose Room Makeover
Tonn and Blank were honored to support the June 12 ribbon-cutting event at the Wheeler‑Dowe Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis — part of the Pacers, NBA, and Emirates’ generous contribution to the multipurpose room. In celebration of the Pacers’ NBA Finals run, the space was fully renovated to serve the Martindale‑Brightwood neighborhood for years to come.

The energy in the room was electric. Each young builder left with more than just a custom toolbox, tape measure, and tie-dye t-shirt—they walked away with confidence and a new set of skills that could inspire a career in construction.
Highlights:
Transformative Upgrades
The remodeled room now features:
-
- A floor modeled after the Gainsbridge Fieldhouse court
- Game tables (pool, foosball)
- Study-ready laptops
- A cozy reading corner filled with books
These long-lasting enhancements will benefit kids well beyond the Finals.
Community Impact
Barbara Bush, NBA Senior VP of Social Impact, spoke to the importance of resourcing kids throughout the summer. Pacers governor Steve Simon emphasized that community initiatives are as important to the organization as playoff games.
Tonn and Blank’s Role
- Donated Furnishings & Layout
We secured furniture donations and created an optimal layout to ensure both functionality and welcoming ambiance. We even coordinated ceiling tile selection to deliver a polished, professional finish. - Team Representation
Tonn and Blank was proudly represented by our Project Manager, Vice President of Central Region, and Senior Interiors Program Manager. We were joined on-site by key vendor partners Mike Long of Office Interiors and Nancy Wright of RJE Interiors, who generously stepped up to help bring this space to life.
A heartfelt thanks to our in‑house team for their dedication, vendors who consistently step up to support our community and the Boys & Girls Club for its ongoing impact! Yes’Cers!!
